well hello to all, its time for me to type some random crap that i pretend is news! first ill start by saying a welcome to all the new people that are appearing on the forum... HELLO! and tell you to make a post in the introduction thread and just generally get posting everywhere... but everyone should be posting more...
so after that epicly long bunfight we have managed to have our first meeting this week which seemed to be a success, apart from a few troubles getting tv there and set up on time, but that's not anything to do with me :D the committee of course hopes everyone had a good time there and will be around next week for some more gaming fun with a different tournament of an unknown to me game as of yet (we just haven't picked yet).
so yer... show up next week, post on here more, be social and you know... like have fun and all that whatnot.

We'll have a stall at the Bunfight, so come along and say hi!

Thursday 29th September - Introductory Social
Stag's Head, 5pm onwards. Come along to meet the committee and your fellow freshers.

Wednesday 3rd October - First Meeting
First week of lectures, first meeting. We'll be in the Nuffield Theatre (right next to the bus interchange), Lecture Room C from 4pm onwards. Come along and play some games!

Well we have all be away for a few weeks for a joyously late Easter but now that over and done with… bad times. However this does mean that we can get some social gaming restarted on Wednesday for the last few weeks before the exams cripple the world back to revising for the world.
These last few meeting got off to a slow start last week with a lack of consoles to start with but it picked up and will be back to normal standards soon (hopefully). After some heavy drinking social last week as well we commemorate some drunk games and the small portion that went singing, this an extra clap for drunk Nathan for living up to his title. All going well onto the next meeting (11/5) were the new generation of cgsoc committee take power for a week trial in charge.
